Welcome to Accounting Services! Our group aims to steward the Institute’s financial resources effectively by providing high-quality financial information and outstanding service to the Caltech community.

We serve the Institute through our six teams, which focus on the following areas:

• Accounting Operations:General budget fund, plant funds, auxiliaries, general ledger and account reconciliations, monthly close, commercial accounts, miscellaneous sales and services accounts, Other Activities Internal Collaboration (OAIC) accounts.
• Bursar: Billing and collecting tuition, fees, refunds, emergency loans and servicing student accounts.
• Financial Asset Accounting: Investments, trust and annuity agreements.
• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Annual financial reporting, management reporting, and forecasts.
• Gift & Endowment Accounting: Endowment, gift, and grant accounts. Other Activities Internally Designated (OAID) accounts, Conference (OACONF) accounts, Recharge Center (OARCHG) accounts.
• Tax Office: All tax reporting, planning, and research.
