Budget and Planning responsibilities include:
- developing the annual operating budget, particularly the general fund budget, in conjunction with major budget units
- monitoring and reporting operating budget performance, particularly the general fund
- evaluating financial impact of operating changes and plans
- developing long-range forecasts of financial operations
- providing institutional data and statistics for federal and other surveys
